Anita Wu is an accomplished litigator with nearly 20 years of expertise navigating and winning high-stakes legal battles in both federal and state courts, establishing her as a trusted advocate and go-to litigator for clients facing important legal challenges. Her practice spans an extensive range of litigation areas, including lawsuits over business matters, professional liability, probate, tax, contract, fraud and employment issues.
Anita brings a wealth of appellate experience, including having served in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Appellate Division in Washington, D.C., and has successfully argued and/or authored winning briefs in matters before many state and federal appellate courts. This experience allows her to provide comprehensive representation to her clients, ensuring their interests are fully protected through all stages of litigation.

Anita graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 2003 with Distinction in Philosophy, and received her law degree from Yale Law School in 2006. While in law school, she was a John Fletcher Caskey Prize Finalist in the Yale Mock Trial Competition, and Thurman Arnold Prize Semi-Finalist in the Yale Moot Court Competition. She served as Co-Chair of the Yale Moot Court of Appeals, editor of the Yale Journal of International Law, and was elected to represent the law school in the Yale Graduate & Professional Student Senate.
Anita serves as President of the Yale Club of Los Angeles, leading a network of over 10,000 Yale alumni and affiliated members. Anita has also served as the national Chair of Law Practice Management for the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, on the Editorial Board of Los Angeles Lawyer. She served on the Associates Advisory Board of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles from 2007-2016. A sought-after speaker, she conducts training on effective legal writing, oral advocacy and law practice management, and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of young lawyers.
