She has also obtained defense verdicts for her clients in civil rights trials in both the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. Her significant and diverse appellate experience includes successfully defending complex claims alleging excessive force; deliberate indifference; objective reasonableness; First Amendment retaliation; stops, searches, and seizures; indemnification; compliance with statutory notice requirements; breach of contract; attorneys’ fees; misrepresentation; defamation; and more.
